NERIMA, Lenka (nee Cankova)

At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, October 22, 2022, in her 80th year.  Loving wife of the late Jindrich “Henry” Nerima.  Beloved mother of Kathy Shewell and her husband Mike, David Nerima and his wife Rachelle Lemire.  Cherished grandmother of Jared, Blake, Ben and Zoë. Dear sister of Zdena Nováčková and Zorka Brokešová. Lenka will be sadly missed by her family in the Czech Republic and her many friends.  Lenka loved to garden and had a gift for baking as well as a warm generosity that touched everyone she met. Her home always felt welcoming, her treats always shared. In accordance with Lenka’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place in her honor.  In memory of Lenka, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
