DeMara, Leona Almeada (nee English) – Suddenly at Peterborough regional Health Centre on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Douglas DeMara. Loving mother of Ken (Janice), Karen Sage (Doug), Shirley Strutzenberger (Wolfgang), Steve (Halina), Bruce and Lanace (John). Cherished grandmother of Nygel (Jennifer), Kyle, Tyler, Troy (Kerri), Bryan (Emilka), Krysta (Pete), Harley, Keli (Dean), Alicia and Kevin. Proud great grandmother of Grace, Lily, Mackenzie, Logan, Ryker, Priscilla, Ace, Rory, Davin, Alex, Andrew, Sophie. Dear sister of Dan English (Sandra), Laurel McIntyre and the late Ross, Carl and Audrey English. Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough). A Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Highland Park Chapel. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
