Whatman, Leonard “Len” Roy
Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, January 11, 2025 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Parker) for 60 years. Loving father of the late Mark Whatman, Carol Whatman and father-in-law of Shirley Wright and her husband Don. Cherished grandfather of Anna-Marie Whatman, Rebecca Whatman, Jeffrey Whatman, Robert Mitchell, and Kevin Mitchell and great grandfather of Mack and Christina. Dear brother of the late Ken Whatman, the late Gloria Hewitt (Herb), the late Trudy Whatman, Wayne Whatman (the late Brenda), Terry Whatman (Shirley), Tim Whatman (Debbie) and Greg Whatman (Colleen). Len will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Len’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Private Family Service held at a later date. In memory of Len and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
