MCKEATING, LISA ANNE.
It is with great sadness that the McKeating family advise of the loss of their beloved Daughter Lisa on June Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Born in Toronto, on Victoria Day May 24, 1970. She is survived by her parents Joyce and Philip McKeating, brother Paul, Sisters Susan Keberer and Sharon DeLorenzi. Predeceased by her brother Stephen. Despite her life long disabilities, Lisa enjoyed a happy childhood in Scarborough with her mom always ready to help. After moving to Peterborough at the age of 20 with her parents, she continued to be involved in community activities, notably at Calvary Pentecostal Church where she was active in the choir. She also enjoyed helping her dear friend Dave Nickel during his election campaigns. The real highlight of her life was moving out on her own 16 years ago to St. John Centre, where with the help of KPP, she lived as independently as her health issues would allow. Lisa was a joy to all she met and will be sadly missed. A private family service was held at the Little Lake Cemetery. Donations in memory of Lisa, may be made to Five Counties Children Centre or the Hydrocephalus Association, and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
