Mom was a very private person. She was quiet, soft spoken and well liked. She had a great perspective of many topics and kept up to date on world events.  This resulted in some really good conversations. Sewing and knitting were her passions. Every winter, she would knit us all her famous hat and mitt sets, including a couple for the neighborhood kids. Mom enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, making homemade relish, chili sauce, and baking pies. Her go-to sports to watch were the Toronto Blue Jays and all the Curling Bonspiels.

Later in life, mom took an investment course at Fleming College, then obtained her real estate license and went on to work for Royal Lepage. When Mom and Dad became empty nesters, they moved from Peterborough and settled at Clear Lake. The lake was their happy place. We have so many special memories of Mom to cherish forever. We can take comfort in knowing she has been reunited in heaven with Dad and Michael.

A private Memorial Service was held at Highland Park Funeral Centre.  Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
