HICKS, Luella Merle (nee Daniels)
Peacefully at Extendicare Mississauga, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 100.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Hicks.  Loving mother of Kevin Hicks and his late wife Marilyn, Terry Hicks and his wife Nancy, and the late Cheryl.  Cherished grandmother of Craig (Ingrid), James, Jack, Andrew and great grandmother of Justin and Dylan.  Dear sister of the late Archibald Daniels and Frederick Daniels. As a Air Force wife, Luella experienced living in Germany, Alberta, Quebec, Saskatchewan  and postings in Ontario.  Luella was a gifted painter, who also found great joy in a wide variety of crafts. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation from 12:00-1:00 pm.  Interment Little Lake Cemetery.  Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. Kevin and family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and volunteers at Extendicare Mississauga for their compassionate care of Luella.
