ALLEN, Lynne Beverlie (nee Crowder)

Peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in her 76th year.  Beloved wife of the late John Allen.  Loving mother of Katie Allen and Adrian Allen and his wife Karrie.  Cherished grandmother of Quinn and Zane.  Dear sister of Valerie Stewart and her husband the late Doug, Dorothy Thomas and her husband the late Warren, Gillian Bruffell and her husband Philip and her sister-in-law Vivienne Allen.  Lynne will be sadly missed by her Goddaughter Yvonne Grin her nephews, Stephen Thomas (Lori), Robin Thomas (Katherine), Noel Thomas (Laura), Nigel Stewart (Lisa), Mathew Stewart (Lisa), and Adam Bruffell, her many friends from England and Canada, especially Frank and Barbara and their children Clare and Patrick and their familes, Beryl and Rob, Elizabeth and John, Randy and Michelene, Angie and Rob, Sheila, Edith, Dianne, Jodie, Anita, and Grant and Luis. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Lillah Crowder, Lynne was an avid traveller, and her love of life, love and family was evident throughout her life. There will be a Celebration of Lynne’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions space is limited and face coverings are mandatory.  At the family's request, attendees will be required to show proof of double vaccination and photo ID to attend Lynne’s Celebration of Life which will allow full capacity at the funeral home. Masks or face coverings are mandatory.
