KIDD, Malcolm Alexander (Long time Employee of General Motors, Faithful Member of St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus Council, Newcastle) Passed peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook with his loving family by his side on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Malcolm, beloved husband and best friend of 62 years to the late Patricia (nee Laton). Loving and devoted father to Debra Sawyer (Steve), Robert (Diane), Rhonda Warwick (Dave), and Timothy (Tracey). Adored Poppy of Kristen (Darren), Meghan (Cody), Stephanie (Nick), Nathan (Julie), David (Rebecca), Trevor, Zach (Ellanne), Jake, Dawson, Jonathan, and Madison. Beloved Great Poppy to Nicholas, Alixandra, Hailee, Rilynn, Mikayla, Alexander, Caleb, Liam, Rowan, Rayne, Hayven, Caydence, and Mayve. Predeceased by his sisters Beatrice Northey, Violet McCabe, and Ruby Murray. Brother-in-law of Carolyn, Frank, Sharon, Larry, Gary, Bonnie, Mike and the late Laurent and Ken. Son of the late Bruce Kidd and Olive Robinson. Malcolm had a real passion for the outdoors. His love of canoeing, camping, hunting and fishing was surpassed only by his love for his family. A Private Family Service will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre. A Public Celebration of Malcolm’s life will be held when circumstances allow and will be announced at a future date.
