Beloved wife of John Kloosterman (Predeceased 2015)

Daughter of the late Simon and Margaret DeGroot. Sister of Gertrude (Truus) Kloosterman and Adrian (Jane) DeGroot.

Mother of Harold (predeceased)(Sue), Richard (Michelle), Arthur (Linda) and Jennifer (Andrew)

Grandma to John (Amanda), Alex (Rebecca), Justin (Katie), Katie (Mike), Marissa (Sean), David, Robert, Dan (Allison) Olivia (Cory), Rebecca (Andrew), Rachael (Brandon), Emily (Jeff), Alison (Tai), Aleigha.

Great Grandma to 16 great grand children and 1 one the way.

Margaret Emigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in October 1954 with her parents and siblings. In 1957 she married the love of her life in a double wedding with her and her sister marrying two brothers. Together Margaret and John built their family and businesses. Market gardening in the early years, and later Margaret was the bookkeeper for their contracting business.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, aquafit, walking and being involved with the church.

For the last 4 years, she was a resident of Canterbury Gardens in Peterborough, living with her sister, and enjoyed the benefits of making new friends there. She was often found in the Atrium for tea each afternoon.

Margaret had a long and blessed life of 90 years, and she will be missed by family and friends.

Service will be held Friday August 22 at Cephas Christian Reformed Church 220 Goodfellow Rd Peterborough, ON.

Visitation at 10:30am, service at 11:30am.  In her memory, donations to Cephas Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated by her family.
