Marilyn Dawn Ferguson died peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on November 23, at the age of 92.
Marilyn grew up in Peterborough with her parents, Clifford and Edna McInroy, her sister, Roselyn and her brothers, Gary and Jeff. She was married to Wayne Ferguson (d.2024) for more than 70 years and had seven children: Peter (d. 2018), Daniel, Michael, David (Mary), Timothy (Bonnie), Susan (Brent) and Christopher (d.2024). Marilyn was a proud Grandma to 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was a talented figure skater, swimmer, seamstress, baker and chocolate maker. Her calm, gentle presence will be greatly missed by her family.
Funeral service will be held December 15 at 11:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 748 Cumberland Avenue.
