Fondly missed by Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, especially his cousins Barb Batty and Cory Hotner, nieces and nephews; Colleen (Jeff), Felicity, Blake (Nichelle), Kevin, Jonathan, and the late Christopher Hotner. As well as dear and long time friends Jeff McNice and John Butterworth.
Born September 1,1970 in Oshawa, Marty was raised on the family farm in Brooklin, Ontario. Over the years the family grew fruits and vegetables to sell at their stand on the farm, then building greenhouses to grow and sell plants and flowers to the public. Marty had a passion for growing and continued to garden even after the greenhouses closed. Marty was so proud of his own vegetable garden and loved sharing with his neighbors. He loved hunting, was a fabulous cook, especially his polish dishes, loved watching movies and most of all spending time with Sandra and his kids. Marty gave the best bear hugs and will be missed dearly.
Special Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Northumberland Hills Hospital especially Dr. Mule and the entire palliative nursing team.
Cremation has already taken place and at the request of Marty there will not be a service. However, the family invites you to donate to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation- Palliative care unit or to the charity of your choosing.
