Agnes passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025 at the age of 93, with her beloved niece, Maureen, by her side.
Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Ambrose Doris and Mary Driscoll; her sisters, Marie Fitzpatrick (James) and Catherine McTeague (Bill); and her brothers, Richard, Jack, Edward, Paul (Velma) and Terry (Diane McConnachie). She will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Sheila Doris and Viola Doris.
Agnes leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews all of whom loved, admired and respected her.
In 1954, Agnes graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed a rewarding nursing career working in various communities, where she made lifelong friends along the way. Agnes filled her life with church, family and friends. A true caregiver at heart, she never hesitated to drop everything to support her family and extended family. Agnes was intelligent, wise and loving – a natural storyteller with a wonderful sense of humour.
Agnes’s family thanks all the staff at Fairhaven for their wonderful care and compassion. Fairhaven became her home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 1pm.
In loving memory of Agnes, donations to Fairhaven Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
