THOMPSON, Mary Alma Christina (nee Butson, formerly Basso) 

Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in her 98th year.  Beloved wife of the late George Thompson, the late Ken Woodley, and the late Donald Basso.  Loving mother of Don and his wife Kim, Deborah and her husband the late Howard, and Andy and his wife Kathy.  Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Jory (Jen), Ben (Jacqueline), Chrissie (Don), and great grandmother of Saige, Everett, Marlowe, Jacob, Madison, Mckenna, Jeffrey, Tabitha and Jasmine.  Dear sister of Bill Butson.  Predeceased by her siblings Marion, Sybil, Margaret, Robert, Mick, Phyllis, and Janet.  Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  A private family graveside service was held at Highland Park Cemetery.  In memory of Alma and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
