PAKENHAM, Mary Margaret “Elaine” – At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday March 17, 2026 in her 83rd year.  Loving wife of Robert Joseph Pakenham.  Dear sister of Peter (Mary) McCarthy, Wayne (Nancy) McCarthy and Jane Bagshaw (d. John).  Predeceased by her parents Joe and Marguerite “ Peg” McCarthy, her brothers Jack (d. Lucy) McCarthy, Joe ( Lynn McCool) McCarthy and sister Dolly Foley (d. Lawrence).  Sister-in-law to Kathryn Stilwell (Bill), Bill Pakenham (Paulette), Philip Pakenham (Nancy) and Jim Pakenham (Shelley).  Beloved Aunt/Auntie Bea to several nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 11:00 am from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 386 Rogers Street,  Peterborough.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in the church.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by reception at Immaculate Conception Rogers St. Hall.  In memory of Elaine, if desired donations may be made to Immaculate St. Vincent de Paul.
