STROUD, Miriam Alison (nee Collins)
Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in her 86th year.
Miriam was, over the years, a teacher, a nurse, and a minister, yet her greatest joy was her family and friends. Beloved wife of Thomas (Tom) Stroud for 43 1/2 years. Loving mother of Carolyn (Blaine), Dee, and Eric (Tanya), and caring stepmum to Jeff, Peter (Jessie), Rebecca (Lance), and Nathaniel. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Colin, Piper, Shaela, Maya, Oliver, Charlotte and Rosalie. Dear sister of Sheila (Frank), and Heather (Ken). Sadly missed by her precious nieces and nephews, and special cousins. There will be a Memorial Service held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST ANGLICAN CHURCH (99 Brock Street, Peterborough), on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. In memory of Miriam and in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John's Anglican Church Parish, Breakthrough T1D (JDRF), or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
