DONOGHUE, Mitchell Richard Alan       September 7, 2001 – Peterborough, Ontario May 3, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mitchell Donoghue, of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 20 years.

Mitchell was born in Peterborough, ON on September 7, 2001. He spent most of his days with his mom and sisters. He loved going to Canada’s Wonderland, camping, and spending any given opportunity swimming in the lakes. His uniqueness was undisputed, as a child his diet consisted of spaghetti tacos and chugging chocolate milk in parking lots with friends until they puked. 

He was a proud member and personal trainer for the Goodlife Fitness family, bodybuilding and fitness was truly his life passion. He was extremely successful in building relationships and inspiring passion in everyone who trained with him. 

Mitchell also enjoyed and respected deeply his Ojibwe roots and culture, spending time exploring all of Canada, being spontaneous, and living life to its very fullest. Mitchell truly lived moment to moment. 

He will be most remembered for his ridiculous and dark humour, his ability to connect with everyone, and his infectious energy. 

Mitchell is survived by his mother Lisa Lawrence (Jeff), father Robert Donoghue, twin sisters Madison and Morgan Donoghue, and grandparents Lynn Campbell, Dan Coppins (Darlene), and Linda Donoghue who will grieve his loss forever. He is also survived by his girlfriend Kate Parsons and so many incredible friends such as Jordan Storey, and the entire extended families. 

Mitchell was predeceased by his Granny and Papa (Harry and Norma Campbell) and his Grandpa Billy. United once again and in their care until his earth-bound family returns home to him.

Visitation will take place at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road on Wednesday, May 11th from 10:00am to 3:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel at 3:00pm.  Reception to follow.
