Mitchell Douglas Henson

HENSON, Mitchell Douglas: Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the age of 19 years. Beloved son of Jason and Bonnie Henson. Loving brother of Molly. Cherished grandson of Stewart and Doris Bannerman of Seaforth, and Betty Anne and the late Doug (John) Henson of Pembroke. Remembered lovingly by his uncle James Bannerman, and aunts Connie Stainforth, and Amy Henson, and by his cousins and friends.

Mitchell was an avid hockey fan and loved watching and cheering for his Ottawa Senators. Mitchell enjoyed spending time outside, either taking long walks or sitting out in the breeze listening to birds and playing with his favourite toy.  Mitchell’s smile had the ability to light up an entire room, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and caregivers.

A private family Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre followed by interment in Highland Park Cemetery.
