LEAHY, Patricia Ann (nee Krychun)

Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, March 8, 2026 in her 78th year.  Beloved mother of Colleen Stewart and her husband John, Heather Campbell, and the late Kathleen Campbell. Cherished grandmother of Caitlin, Andrew, Ellie, Meredith, Annabell, Desmond, Jordan, Dylan, Hailey and great grandmother of Abigail and Henry.  Sister of William “Bill” (Tania), Mike and Peter Krychun. 

Patricia Leahy will be remembered as a woman of remarkable strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. Throughout her life, Patricia faced great adversity, yet she met every challenge with courage and tenacity, always battling through with grace and resolve.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Patricia was the proud parent of three children and the cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, as well as two great‑grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Her love for her family was deep and constant, and she took great pride in each generation that followed her.

Alongside her strength, Patricia had a wonderful sense of humour and a laugh that was truly unforgettable. Her contagious belly laughs—often laughing until she cried—brought joy to many. She especially enjoyed time spent together with family, where lively conversation, shared memories, and intense games of Yahtzee were always part of the fun. Patricia will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
