Paul Walhout

WALHOUT, Paul (Retired Dairy Farmer)

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in his 79th year.  Faithful husband of 56 years to Bertha (nee Vander Kuur).  Loving father of the late Betty Anne Rozema (Marvin surviving), Jennifer Drew (Tim), Dave Walhout (Cathy), Janet Boyd (James Thorpe), Mike Walhout (Jill Caughey) and Karen Walhout (William Russ).  Beloved Opa of Jonathan (Chloe), Cole, Erica, Julia, Nicole, Paul, Tim, Leah, Audrey, Toby, Anna, Luke, Nolan and great Opa of Hayes and Ezra.  Cherished brother of John Walhout (Marianne), George Walhout (Jennifer) and Catrien Walhout.  Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and remembered by his circle of close friends.  Visitors will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on  Monday from 1:00-3:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM.  Funeral Service will be held at CEPHAS CHRISTIAN REFORM CHURCH, 220 Goodfellow Rd., Peterborough on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM.  Reception to follow.  For those attending the Funeral Service and Reception parking is limited and the church asks that if you can carpool it would greatly appreciated.  In memory of Paul, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the PRHC Integrated Stroke Unit are appreciated.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
