TRAYNOR, Mr. Percy Dennis

While surrounded by the love of his family, Percy passed after a long struggle with cancer at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on October 21, 2019 in his 71st year.  Beloved husband of 46 years to Verna (nee Keating).  Loving father of Aaron (Rachelle), Bradley (LeighAnn), and Marti (Joe).  Proud Grandpa of Ruby, Hunter, Noah, Sadie, Brady and Owen. Son of the late David and Sarah Traynor.  Brother of Lillian (Deceased), Stan (Marg), Jim (Marg), Shirley (Nels), Faye (Randy), Alice (Reg), Randy (Sharon).  Son-in-law of Margaret and the late Vernon Keating.  Brother-in-law of Dorothy (Gord), Marie (Gerry), Jane (Tom), Corrinne (Sam), Shane (Kim), and Bryan.  Percy will be deeply missed by friends and family.  Special thanks to all the compassionate Dr.’s and Nurses that we encountered at the PRHC.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.  Celebration of life will be held at the Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre.  In memory of Percy, donations to the Ronald MacDonald House would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
