Peter Brown Obituary

 Peter Roy Brown

January 25. 1951 – April 25.2023

Peter Roy Brown passed away suddenly on April 25, 2023. Peter will be missed by his daughters Angela Ahola (John) and Laura Sparks, grandchildren Ella Sofia, Brandon and Bryson (predeceased), great grandchildren Cameron, Emma and Colson. Cherished brother of Barry Brown (Gerri) and Cindy Humphreys. Uncle to Kelly, Wayne, Ryan and Katie. He will also be missed by extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joe and June Brown.

Peter was a long time legion member of both Tweed and Madoc branches. He enjoyed working for DeVries Log Homes for over 28 years. He loved doing charity work and often made log slab tables and benches which he gave away or donated for legions to raise money. His passion was being out in nature, on his boat fishing every summer or rough camping. Peter was very proud of his part of organizing the annual bike Show and Shine at the former Tweedsmuir Tavern for over 20 years. He loved his Harley's and anything to do with them. His best friends included his many pets, they brought him such joy and they were so loved by him.

There will be a graveside service at the Actinolite Cemetery on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
