Peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Fairhaven Long-term Care at the age of 80.  Beloved husband of Caryl for 56 years.  Loving father of Michael Gooley (Suzanne), Brian Gooley (Denise), Joanne Gooley and Patrick Gooley.  Cherished Grandpa of Andrew, Shawn, Devon, Ben, Shay and Colm.  Dear brother of Gerard Gooley (Isabel), and brother-in-law of Tom Duffus.  Predeceased by his parents Leo and Philomene (nee Garvey) and sisters Winnifred Murphy (Terry) and Teresa Duffus and brother Paul Gooley. Dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Pete was always busy and very willing to lend a helping hand.  To all the staff at Fairhaven Riverside 4, for their genuine kindness, care and friendship given to Pete and who always brought a smile to his face.  A very sincere thank you.  You are the best!  He is at Peace now.  There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.  Memorial donations to the Fairhaven Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
