McCOURT, Peter William (30 year First Class Firefighter in Scarborough): At his home following a brief illness on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 in his 78th year. Peter, beloved husband of Wendy (nee Fairclough). Loving and devoted father of Colleen Terry and her husband James, and Kristy Hall and her husband Trevor. Cherished Grandfather of Shannon, and Ryan Terry, and Breton Hall. Remembered lovingly by several nieces and nephews. Dear brother of David (Sheila), Paul (Diane), Joanne Wade (Stephen), and brother-in-law of Lynn McGuire. Son of the late Andrew McCourt and Joy Devlin. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Peterborough with a celebration of life to take place at a later date.
