Randal Joseph Rennick. It is with heavy hearts that the Rennick family announces the passing of Randy Rennick on the morning of October 10th, 2025, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a heart attack at the age of 67.
Randy is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 39 years, Irene, and daughters Sarah and Michelle, and his siblings, Dale (Cheryl) Rennick, Laurel (Murray) Caldwell, Sandra (Gord) Brennan, Heather Rennick, and, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Phil (Lise) Rennick and his parents Donald and Jean Rennick.
Randy was a cartographer by trade and left his creative mark on many provincial park maps during his time at the Ministry of Natural Resources, where he spent 33 years until his retirement in 2017. He was a valued colleague who was known for his exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and infectious laugh.
In his personal life, Randy was known for his love of the outdoors, including gardening, tree cutting, camping, and fishing, and for his incredible cooking. He had global impact through his ministry and mission trips over the years, travelling to Côte d'Ivoire, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Israel, and Barbados. He was a true family man, who became a father figure to many, and loved on all he met with his acts of service.
A man of charity, integrity, and true character, whose love and light will live on through all he met.
