Randy King

KING, Vernon “Randy” (Retired from General Motors Canada after 33 years, served in the Canadian Armed Forces - Corps of the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers). Peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family, in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Susan (nee Nisbett) for 56 years.  Loving father of Michelle Hewitt (the late Dean) and Maureen King.  Cherished Papa of Ryan Hewitt (Leanne), Melissa Hewitt (Tristan), Sam King and Sissy King and great Papa of Harlyn and Ryker Hewitt. Dear Brother of the late April (Gary), Heather, Kim and Nettie. Dear brother-in-law of Marie White, Katherine Smith, Margaret Rose Strickland (Don), Tom (Trudy), Mike (Mary-Lou), Eddie Goleski, Mary Nisbett and Caroline McManus, predeceased by Norman Junior (Reni), Edith Goleski, Doug (Shirley), Paul, Johnny, Karl and David.  Randy will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.    Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 PM.  Covid restrictions are in place and face coverings are mandatory.  Private family funeral and interment.  In memory of Randy, donations to Five Counties Children Centre would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
