Rebecca Anne English

January 9, 1993 – August 19, 2026                  

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rebecca Anne English, who left us peacefully on August 19, 2026, at the age of 33.

Rebecca was the beloved daughter of Marg and Doug English and the loving wife of Rogan Moser. She will be forever loved and remembered by her sisters, Jacquie McCall (Greg) and Erin English (Mark); her cherished nephews, Nathan and Owen, and niece, Etta. Rebecca was also a loving fur mom to Zelda, Denver, Levi, and Link, who brought her endless companionship and joy.

She was predeceased by her grandmother, Etta English; grandparents, Edward Baker and Margaret Baker; her uncle Russell English; and niece, Audrey McCall.

Rebecca found her passion and purpose as a hairstylist, where she loved helping people feel confident, beautiful, and their very best. Her courageous spirit, fierce independence, and determination carried her through every challenge she faced. She touched many lives through her kindness, her strength, and the genuine care she showed to others.

Our family is eternally grateful to the D2 Palliative staff at PRHC for the care and compassion they provided to Rebecca and our family.

Our thanks will never be enough for all the staff and volunteers at Hospice Peterborough, who gave us the beautiful gift of time, comfort, and precious moments together with Rebecca. Your compassion and support will remain in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 4th at the Peterborough Lions Club, 347 Burnham St. Peterborough, from 12:30-5 pm, with Words of Remembrance beginning at 1:30. However, in keeping with Rebecca’s spirit, please come as you are, there is no need to wear black. Rebecca lived her life authentically, and we encourage everyone to do the same.

We encourage all who knew Rebecca to help keep her spirit alive in the way they choose to move through the world; create freely, seek out adventure, laugh often, love deeply, and welcome others exactly as they are. In these small ways, we allow Rebecca’s spirit to continue to be shared with the world and live on through us. Rebecca will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
