Reginald Richard Burgomaster

Reginald Richard John Burgomaster (December 4, 1948 - May 25, 2023) 

Reginald Richard John Burgomaster, a beloved teacher, business owner, and cherished family man, peacefully passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on May 25, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family. Reginald was born on December 4, 1948, and was the loving husband of the late Vicki Lynn Burgomaster (nee Garton). 

Reg was a devoted father to his three children, Heidi McHattie (son-in-law Dan), Trevor Burgomaster (daughter-in-law Kendra), and Kirsten Burgomaster (son-in-law Dan Fitzgerald). His role as a grandfather brought immense joy to his life, and he leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren: Brittney, Madelyn, Brayden, Colby, Katelyn, Jesse, Parker, and Carter. 

Throughout his life, Reg made significant contributions as an educator, sharing his passion and knowledge with countless students. He also had a successful career as a business owner, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication. 

Reg will be remembered for his unwavering love and commitment to his family and together with Vicki, leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to have known them. 

As we mourn the loss of our Dad, we find solace in the memories we shared and the lasting impact he made on our lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
