Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 2, 2025 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Adele (nee Christie) for 55 years. Cherished father of Gord Sawers and the late Andrea Sawers. Cherished grandfather of Brandon.  In accordance with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
