COURNEYEA, Robert Clare
Passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in his 78th year.  This sudden loss leaves the family deeply saddened, He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years Marlene (nee Moore).  Loving father of his 3 sons Glenn (Crystal), Ken (Laura), and Jason (Lorraine).  Cherished grandfather of his beautiful grandchildren, Abigail, Nevaeh, McKinley, Brinley, Nicholas, and Isabel.  Dear brother of Mike (Ann), John (Gail), Marie, Catherine (Keith), Mary (Murray), and Gerard (Linda).  Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as his best friend from childhood, Richard DuMoulin.  There will be a Celebration of Robert’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Private family interment will take place at a later date.  Robert’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s at Fleming for their compassion and years of excellent care. In memory of Robert and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
