Peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming after a brief illness. Robert Allen Ward (Bob), on Sunday May 28th, Former spouse of the late Gail Ward, beloved father of Janice Ross, Karen Curtis, (Martin), John (Joanne), and Julie Ward. Loving Grandfather of Krista (Dave), Jonathon and Matthew, Gregory (Charlene), Tara (Patrick), and Shannon (Dylan), Megan and Ben, and Ashleigh (Jason), Christopher, and Shayne. Great-Grandfather of 12. Son of the late Mary and Murray Ward, brother of the late John (Jack) (Colleen) and the late Carolyn (late Bruce). Bob loved to tinker with his many, many tools and sit outside under his gazebo chatting with his neighbours. Visitation is Thursday June 1 st from 3:30-5:30 and 6:30 to 8:30 at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough. Private family service on Friday June 2nd with Rev. Nancy Wilson officiating. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery. “I want to look at the water” as Bob was fond of saying.
