Robert 'Bob' Henry Nurse

Bob Nurse, former owner of Bob Nurse Motors, passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2026, in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Marg. Loving father of Margaret Anne and Peter Siddall; Brenda and Glenn Mills; and Rob and Cheryl Nurse. Proud Grampa to Kyle and Maxine Nurse; Michael Mills and Natasha; Katie Siddall; Aaron Mills; Taylor Nurse and Jacob; Shawn Mills and Jordan. Cherished Great Grampa to Jack and Brooklynn (“Cookie”).

Bob will be missed by his best friends Les and Bev Cassidy as well as his good friend Tim Wichmann.

A dedicated Mason, Bob was Past Master of Otonabee Lodge, a member of Corinthian Chapter, Past Presiding Preceptor Moore Preceptory, Past Senior Governor of Quinte College, a life member of the Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Kente Tabernacle, and Past President of the Kawartha Shrine Club.

Bob will always be remembered for his passion for restoring classic cars, with his most recent project being a 1956 Lincoln, and for greeting everyone he met with a joke and a smile.
