Married almost 71 years!

Survived by their daughter Carol Behan (Tom), grandchildren Tiffany Rose (Rick), Brendan Behan (Julia), Lauren Soles (Casey), Christopher Soles (Diana) and six great grandchildren. Jeannine’s brother Ted Collins (Myra) and Bob’s brother-in-law Lorne Thurston and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by their son Jeffrey Peter Soles and Dad’s sister Lenore Thurston. Mom and Dad’s “happy place” was at the cottage that they bought in 1973. They spent their summers living there and exploring the lake on their “Love Boat”. Mom and Dad loved to entertain and parties were plentiful! They created this wonderful gathering place that is now being enjoyed by a fourth generation. Their social life was very active with close friends and siblings, square dancing, cards, racing club, art, New Years celebrations and so many family gatherings. Family was everything to them and they adored spending time with their grandchildren. They were totally devoted to each other and were always each other’s rock. So it is only fitting that one could not live without the other. It’s difficult to lose them so close together but comforting to know they are together again! The dialysis unit at PRHC has been incredibly supportive and because of their terrific care, Dad was able to spend many more quality years with Mom. Donations to PRHC Foundation, Dialysis Unit, in lieu of flowers, are suggested. A special thank you to St. Joseph’s at Fleming for their tender loving care of Mom and Dad. They helped make their lives enjoyable in the last couple of years with not only fantastic care but many laughs as well. The staff went above and beyond and the family will always be thankful for that! A private family service has been arranged with interment at Little Lake Cemetery.
