Robert "Mark" Lapum

Robert “Mark” Lapum died on February 18, 2025 at the age of 57 in St. Catherine’s Ontario at Niagara Health from pneumonia complications. He was the son of Bob and Jo Lapum, both deceased. Family included Jack (Joyce, predeceased), Susan (Denis), Dianne (Scott), and Jennifer (Gary) as well as nieces and nephews. He will be specifically missed by his dogs, Marco and Polo, who have found a good home. Mark loved all dogs and many other animals. Mark was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan. When these teams weren’t doing well, you could often hear Mark yelling at the TV as if the players could hear him. In addition to playing sports and the piano when he was younger, Mark also listened to music, including his favourite bands, the Guess Who. April Wine, and CCR. Mark has dealt with many struggles over the years, including cancer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. There will be a private family ceremony at a later date.
