MACDONALD, Ron

It is with great sadness that the family of Ron announce his sudden passing at his home on July 25, 2022. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Nancy (nee Nurse) and his two sons James (Alexis), and Michael. Ron was the much loved son-in-law of Helen and the late Jerry Nurse, and brother-in-law to Bob Nurse (Mary Jane), and Cathy Reid. Greatly respected by his nephews Derek Nurse (Sue), Chad Nurse (Janelle), and great nephew Logan. Predeceased by his parents Ruth Reid and George Carter and his grandparents Everson and Eva Reid. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00pm. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will follow in the Highland Chapel at 12:00pm  Reception Highland Park Reception Centre.
