It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ron Sargeant on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in his 90th year. Ron was the beloved husband of the late Joan Carol (nee Hunt). He was the loving father of Aaron Sargeant (Hope), Craig Sargeant (Sarah), and Matthew Sargeant, and a cherished grandfather to Elizabeth (and her fiancé Tristan), Adam, Emily, and Claire.  Ron was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Ron will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, church community, and friends.  Ron’s faith in Jesus, his Lord and Saviour, was an important part of his life. His love for his family, his church community, and his friends will be remembered, and his life and faith will continue to be a blessing to those who knew him. A Funeral Service will be held at Edmison Heights Bible Chapel, 939 Hilliard Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. In memory of Ron and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Edmison Heights Bible Chapel or Joy Bible Camp and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
