Russ passed away peacefully at 85 surrounded by family. He married his high school sweetheart, Audrey Moore (nee Smith) in 1963. After graduating as one of the first classes in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, he began his career with Canadian General Electric Company, Peterborough Plant in January 1966. Russ always enjoyed tinkering with all things mechanical and technical: computers, smart phones, telescopes, cameras or a new gadget. including his Land Rover. He was meticulous as
he worked around the house or cottage. After retiring, he and Audrey travelled to most continents. He cycled, skied, and canoed - Fun times shared with family and friends.
