Ruth Marie (Armitage) Wombwell

WOMBWELL, Ruth Marie (nee Armitage): Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, December 2, 2024 in her 93rd year. Ruth, beloved wife of the late Norman Wombwell (d. 2002). Loving and devoted mother of Gary and his wife Debra of Cavan. Cherished Grandmother of Lisa Calderwood, Holly Wilson (Shaun), Gregory Wombwell, and Great Grandmother of Hope Calderwood and her fiancé Riley West, Daniel Carr, and Cole Wilson. Remembered lovingly by her many nieces and nephews. Ruth was the youngest of six and last surviving of Walter and Florence Armitage. Her family would like to thank the staff and friends at Applewood Retirement Residence for their care and compassion these past two years. There will be a Private Family Graveside service in Little Lake Cemetery. In memory of Ruth, donations to Salvation Army, or CNIB would be appreciated by her family.
