Samuel Robert Bowers

It is with much sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel Robert Bowers on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 at PRHC in his 85th year.

Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Helen Bowers, brothers George (Blanch, Jean) and Henry (Jennifer) and nephew Aaron Tarnow.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories his beloved wife Mary, sons Robert (Julie) and William (Rochelle).  Grandpa to Alex, Josephine and Sammy Bowers.  Brother Garry (Carole-anne), sisters Mary Schooff (William) and Beth Bowers.  He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2025 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  A Memorial Service will be held in the Highland Chapel at 10:30am.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery.  Donations made to the Peterborough Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
