Caban, Sheila Ida (nee Kelly) ‑ Peacefully at home on April 27, 2018 surrounded by family. Reunited with husband Don (2005) and son Bob (1975). Beloved mother of Don (Donna), Mary Bencze (Tom), Bill (Brenda) and Debbie Sager (Brian). Adored Granny of Dave, Kelly, Dawn, Dan (Danielle), Jeff, Rob (Angela), Steven, Michael, Tim (Morgan), Ryan (Virginia), Chris, Angela (Chris), and Robert. Great‑grandma of 22, and Great Great grandma of 2. Dear sister ‑in‑law to Pat Kelly. “Aunt Sheila “will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, as well as her lifelong friends Marie and Jenny. Predeceased by parents Jim and Mary Kelly, brothers George, Charles, Don and Frank. “Ma” enjoyed a good life, filled with love, lots of humour, and hard work. She was happiest in the home that she and Don built; decorating constantly, and puttering around the yard well into her eighties. She was proud of her working life at Fairhaven and St Joseph’s Hospital, where she made many friends. A memorial reception will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 4‑7 p.m. at Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough).
