Shirley Janet Earle

Shirley Janet Earle (nee Freeburn) passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on July 2, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Winnifred (nee Rosborough) Freeburn and her beloved husband James Richard Earle. Shirley will be deeply missed by her brother Harold (Gayle) Freeburn, her sisters Ann (Norm) Durnan and Alice Freeburn, and her sister-in-law Barbara Earle. Also fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Shirley loved all creatures with a special fondness for cats and cardinals. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting beautiful afghans and travels with her husband.

A private interment and celebration of life will be held on July 25, 2025.
