Shirley Elizabeth (Carl) Orr

ORR, Shirley Elizabeth (nee Carl) – Passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 80th year.  Cherished mother of Stephen (Kerry) and step-grandma to Mackenna and Aussie.  Dear sister of Wilson Carl (Karen).  Predeceased by her husband Robert Orr and sister Aileen Downer (Arnold Downer).  She will be sadly missed by her partner and companion Doug Smith and his children Lori Heffernan and Jeff Smith.   Shirley enjoyed her weekly bowling games, and was always entertained by a good Blue Jays game.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2023 from 6-8PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
