Celebration of Life In Loving Memory of Stuart Robert Condie
July 22, 1987 – June 17, 2025.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stuart Robert Condie of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Peterborough, Ontario. Stuart passed away after a brief, but brave, battle with cancer at the age of 37. Born and raised in Peterborough, Stuart brought his quiet strength and kind heart into everything he did — from his work as a skilled plumber to his life as a caring partner, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend. He travelled to Edmonton in fall 2007 to start an apprenticeship in plumbing, and he stayed to build a life and career that included fulfilling his dream of building his beautiful lakefront house on Silver Sands.

Much loved son of Robert Condie (d. Kathy Sullivan) and Mara Condie Dal Cin (Jeff Murphy). Stuart will always be the treasured eldest brother to Sean and Erik; and to his half-sister Lana. Stuart was a devoted husband to Christine and a proud, loving father to Lincoln, age 3, and Sutton, age 1. He will be sorely missed by his in-laws Jack and Carol Dohei, brothers-in-law Scott and Brad (Sherise), and nephew Charlie. Stuart is also deeply missed in Sault Ste. Marie by his Nonni, Nonno Pietro and Nonna Amalia Dal Cin. Also missing him dearly are his Zia Enrica Braido (John), Zia Mary Lou MacDonald (Joe), Zio Rony (Sandi) Dal Cin; as are his many relatives, cousins, friends, and extended family in Ontario and Italy, including uncles and aunts Michael (Leslie), Gilles (Sue), Nicole, Gisele Murray (David), and Pauline McNaughton (Steve). He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Jeannette Condie.

Stuart will be always remembered for his love, courage, and the quiet grace with which he lived. His memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him. 

Celebration of Life at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday July 12 at 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. in Peterborough, ON

Goodbye our son, partner, dad, and brother. We will miss you tremendously.
