MUIRHEAD, Stuart Robert “Stu”

Stu passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough with his family by his side on Friday, October 18, 2024, in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Heather (nee Durno) for 56 years.  Loving father of Dan Muirhead, Julie DiGregorio, and her husband Marco, and Tim Muirhead and his wife Ehrin.  Cherished grandfather of Katie, Alex, Fletcher, Zadie and Emily.  Stu will be sadly missed by his sister Jean Masters.  Predeceased by his parents Robert Muirhead and Frances (nee Lucas) and his brother Wayne.  Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and all of his siblings-in-law.  There will be a Celebration of Stu’s Life held at the McDonnel Street Community Centre, 577 McDonnel St., Peterborough, on November 30, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.  In memory of Stu and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough www.hospicepeterborough.org would be appreciated by the family.    Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
