ROACH, Teresa Agnes (nee Murphy): Peacefully at Royal Gardens on Monday, July 26, 2021 in her 90th year. Teresa, beloved wife of 63 years to the late Peter Roach. Loving and devoted mother of Mary Ellen Ormond (Chris), Cathy Weir (Paul), Maureen Roach (Regina), and Sharon Sidaros (Fred). Cherished Grandmother of Sean, Cam, Josh (Elanor); Shannon (Brooke), Braden (Amy), Mark (Kayla); Alexander, Matthew, and Great Grandmother of Lillian, Landyn, Eli and Tenley. Predeceased by her brothers Isidore, Bernard (Bernice), and Harold Murphy (Eileen), as well as sisters Flora and Agatha Murphy, Kathleen Windsor (Doug) and Margaret Whalen (Mike) and survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen Brownson (Art), as well as Patricia and Rosemary Roach. Daughter of the late Frances Murphy and Mary McGuiness.

To know Teresa was to love her. A kind, thoughtful and generous friend to all, she was well known for her sense of humour and her world famous butter tarts. She was a great hostess who had a knack for putting people at ease and making them feel welcome.

In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private funeral mass will be celebrated in Marysville with interment to follow in Marysville cemetery.
