Theresa Dunlop Obituary

On July 17, 2021, in her 98th year, Theresa Lucille Dunlop died peacefully at Fairhaven L.T.C. Theresa was born in Lakefield, the daughter of Francis and Amelia Nolan. She was predeceased by seven sisters and three brothers and is survived by her youngest sister Adelle Johnson. Theresa married Norm Dunlop (d. 2002 ) on May 6, 1944 and together they provided a loving home for their three children Patricia McMurter (Dwayne), Lynda Moher (Gene), and Jim Dunlop (Kelly). She was a loving and attentive grandmother to Tracy Whitney (Matt), Grant McMurter (Cheryl), Chris Dunlop, Jeff Dunlop (Lena), Greg Moher (Chantal), Paul Moher (Allison), and Kathryn Moher. G.G. will be missed by Lindsay and Spencer, Jessica and Anderson, Megan and Lauren, Charlee and Ryan, Nora, Remy and Chloe, Kaelyn, Liam and Brynley and Benjamin, Marlo and Peter. She will also be remembered by her step-grandson Jay Masternak (Rachel, Tyler and Aiden) and by her brother-in-law Don Dunlop (Doris). Theresa and Norm enjoyed many years at their cottage on Dummer Lake where they hosted many family dinners . Everyone looked forward to Theresa's wonderful pastries. There will be a private family service at Highland Park Funeral home and interment at Little Lake Cemetery. Our family wishes to thank all mom's doctors, especially Dr. Kevin Gibson and the many caring staff on Riverside 2 Fairhaven. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's association would be appreciated.
