Surrounded by love, Scott passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Friday, December 6, 2024, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Tracey (nee Stevens). Proud and devoted father of James Caville and Emma Stentaford (Aaron). Loving son-in-law of Bob and Shirley Stevens. Cherished brother-in-law of Cathy Caville (Blaine McFarlane), Jeff Stevens (Debbie) and Susie Bobee (Gary). Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Paul and Sondra Fitzgerald, Bill and Jan Prentice, his colleagues at Tas-Page Communications of 36 years including Judy Craik and Pat Anglesey. Scott will be lovingly remembered by many other close friends, and all who knew him. Predeceased by his siblings Gillian Crowder (late Dave), Bob Caville, Sarah Cairns (Kim) and Paul Caville. Scott’s past love was being involved in sports with the kids including coaching Northminster Church league baseball teams, Trainer for hockey; where he was affectionally known as “Pappa Scott” by the kids, and as a Leader for Beavers. The family extends their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Becca Webster and Dr. Carrie Yeung for the compassion and dedication they provided Scott with during his time with cancer. The comfort and support of Peterborough Hospice made such a difficult time, the most peaceful place to be for all of us. In keeping with Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life and interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens at a later date. In memory of Scott and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made; along with expressions of condolence, at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
