AUSTIN, Verna Esme (nee Feeney) - Passed peacefully at the Peterborough Health Centre on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ken Austin . Loving mother of Joanne and Robert. Much loved sister of Betty, Ethel, Grace, Elsie, Joan and John. Adored grandmother of Megan, Shane, Amber and Brett. Cherished great-grandmother of Bristol, Ellie, Charlotte, Lochlan and Violet. Verna will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She will be forever in our hearts. In keeping with Verna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation for 1 hour prior. Private Interment to take place at Highland Park Cemetery.
