Wayne Adamson

ADAMSON, Wayne: Peacefully at PRHC with family by his side on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in his 85th year. Wayne, beloved husband of almost 60 years to Pat (nee Loucks). Loving and devoted father of Kelli Lackey (Kevin), Robin (Wendy), and Lynn Wilford (Mark). Cherished Papa to Cole Shearer (Trisha), Kenton Lackey (Chiara), Ryan, and Cory (Kayla) Adamson, and Cassidy, and Kayla (Maguire) Wilford. Cherished Great Grandfather of Brooke and Kaycee Shearer, and Asher and Oakes Lackey. Survived by his sister Marie Watkins (Eugene, predeceased). Special brother-in-law to the Loucks’.  Wayne loved the outdoors; he was a hunter and a trapper. He was a long time cattle farmer in Otonabee Township, an avid card player, and enjoyed playing baseball into his late seventies. Visitation at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, September 22nd from 6:00 to 9:00pm.  A Memorial Service will be held in the Highland Chapel on Friday the 23rd at 1:30pm with Reverend Nancy Wilson officiating. Reception to follow, at the Gathering Space located at 431 Hiawatha Line, in Hiawatha. In memory of Wayne, donations to Otonabee South Monaghan Food Cupboard or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
