After a long and wonderful life, Wayne died on December 16, 2024 surrounded by the love of his wife, Gayle and children, Lisa Johansson (Martin) and Brent Miller.
His grandchildren, Samuel, Daniel and Riann Kirk, Finn Johansson, Ronan and Gwen Miller and Leija and Maurits Fellman cherished their time with their Poppa.
Wayne is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Peterborough, after working as a tool and die maker at Westclox, Fisher Gauge and Brock University, Wayne became a teacher and enjoyed a long career at PCVS and Adam Scott.
Wayne spent his 83 years in the very best way possible- making people smile and laugh.
His family wishes to express their gratitude for the exceptional care that he received at PRHC.
Wayne will forever be deeply missed by the Miller and Allen families and his many friends.
A celebration will take place at the Lions Community Centre, 347 Burnham Street on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2:30 to 4:30pm.
In memory of Wayne, please commit a random act of kindness and, if you wish, donate to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
