With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our cherished Mother, Nana, Auntie and friend.
Wilhelmina (Mina) Graham (née Low), in her 100th year, was a woman of strength, courage, and boundless love. She was born in St. Catharine’s, Ontario and departed peacefully on March 20th, 2026, in Peterborough, Ontario. She leaves behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
Mina was a proud war veteran, a role she carried with quiet dignity and unwavering resilience. Beyond her service, Mom was the heart of our home. She had a way of making everyone feel safe, seen, and loved—whether through her warm hugs, her wise words, or the cup of tea that always made everything better.
Mina is predeceased by her devoted husband, Alex, whose love and partnership were the foundation of their life together. She is also predeceased by her loving son, Bill and her sister's, Helen, Muriel and brother, Donald.
Mina is survived by her children, Beth (Frank) Zucchero, Dan Graham, Sandra Graham, Chris (Bob) Moore, Cathie (Kirk) Edwards and Eileen (Grant) Allen. She was a proud and adoring Nanie to her 16 grandchildren and Little Nana to her 17 ¾ great grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and whom she loved beyond words.
Her family was her greatest accomplishment and her deepest source of happiness.
She taught us the meaning of perseverance, kindness, and grace. Even in life’s hardest moments, she stood tall, reminding us of all the power of resilience and hope. To her grandchildren, she was more than a Nana—she was a guiding light, a confidante, and a source of unconditional love.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the PSW’s who supported Mom at home and the doctors and nurses at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during Mina’s final days. The flag ceremony was a beautiful tribute to her service as a Wren in the Royal Canadian Navy.
In lieu of flowers, please consider joining your local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or donate to the Peterborough Regional Health Center Foundation.
Please join us to celebrate our shining star on April 6th at 1:00pm, at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough, Ontario.
Rest peacefully, Mom. Your watch has ended, but your love endures.
